At Southwest Systems, we bridge the gap between theoretical potential and practical performance. Our mission is to provide custom technology solutions that are as reliable as they are powerful. We specialize in the meticulous design and assembly of high-performance computing hardware, ensuring every system we build meets the rigorous standards of the Southwest Region's most demanding technical environments.

We believe that technology should serve the user, not the other way around. By focusing on precision engineering and pragmatic hardware selection, we deliver systems that are built to last and perform at peak capacity.

The graphics card is arguably the single most important component of a computer if you're using it for high-end gaming and/or creative work. Also known as the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit,) the GPU primarily renders your graphics.

All GPUs have video memory (VRAM.) This stores textures in video games, meaning the more VRAM, the better.

The CPU is the brain of your computer. CPU's manage system operations and executing the instructions per clock/cycle (IPC)

This means the CPU takes instructions from the memory and decodes it to understand, then executes it.

The SSD, one of the most important core components of a computer. The SSD serves as a primary long-term storage device for a computer, holding your operating system, applications, files, and data at all times. Even when it has no power. Unlike traditional hard drives, SSDs use flash memory to store data electronically.

Memory, also known as RAM (random access memory) is one of the core components of a computer. RAM is your computers short-term, high-speed memory, temporarily storing data and instructions that the CPU needs immediate access to for active tasks.
